On September 7th I did my fourth Science Communicators of North Carolina panel on Dinosaurs and the Movies at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences. Big audience including lots of kids of all ages with great questions, which was so awesome! I talked about Winsor McKay's Gertie the Dinosaur (pictured here) and The Lost World (1925), early attempts to animate an extinct universe of creatures.
